David's public accounting career began in 1965 with the firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. (San Francisco office). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of San Francisco in 1968. In 1970 he moved to Modesto, and accepted a Treasurer-Controller position in private industry. David established his independent accounting practice by opening an office in Oakdale in 1972.
David is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the California Society of CPA's. He is a member and past President of the Oakdale Rotary Club. He has served as Trustee and President of the School Board of Our Lady of Fatima School. David is a former Director of the United Way of Stanislaus County, having also chaired the United Way campaign in Oakdale. He also has served as a Director of Catholic Charities of the Stockton Diocese, and is currently a Trustee of the Monsignor William Kennedy Education Foundation. He is a past Director and Vice President of the McHenry Mansion Foundation and a past Director of the Muir Trail Girl Scout Council serving on the Finance Committee.
